What You Will Be Doing

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, arranging necessary diagnostic tests, and creating individualized care strategies
• Diagnosing and treating a range of acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, either in collaboration with physicians or autonomously based on credentialing
• Educating patients and their families regarding prevention, wellness, and effective disease management

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Illinois
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capacity to obtain within 90 days)
