Objective / Summary

Seeking two versatile Senior Developers capable of working across both the Medicaid Portal and Data Warehouse. Each resource must have strong hands-on development skills and be able to switch between application development, data integration, database development, and production support based on project priorities. These are cross-functional positions, not separate Portal-only and Data Warehouse-only roles.

Scope of Services / Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Medicaid Portal functionality and Data Warehouse components.

• Develop and maintain application interfaces, APIs, backend services, and database integrations.

• Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, ETL processes, and data transformation logic.

• Support integration between the Medicaid Portal, legacy systems, Data Warehouse, and Data Mart.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and working solutions.

• Investigate and resolve application defects, data discrepancies, interface failures, and performance issues.

• Support legacy data migration, conversion testing, and reconciliation activities.

• Perform unit testing, integration testing, defect resolution, and deployment support.

• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.

• Collaborate with the Data Mart Lead, state IT teams, and business stakeholders to deliver assigned work independently.

Minimum Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience with strong database and data integration expertise.

• Hands-on experience in both application/backend development and Data Warehouse development.

• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

• Experience developing APIs, application integrations, and ETL/ELT processes.

• Experience with relational databases, data transformation, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to work independently across multiple technical workstreams and take ownership of deliverables.

• Experience supporting testing, deployments, and production issue resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Medicaid, MMIS, healthcare applications, or state government projects.

• Familiarity with .NET/C#, Java, SQL Server, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent technologies is beneficial, subject to the confirmed project stack.
