Since 1940, we've remained committed to creating better textiles—delivered seamlessly by experts who care.The Industrial Machine / Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing day-to-day maintenance on all plant equipment including electrical and mechanical tasks as necessary. The Technician will maintain all equipment for the production operation.Responsibilities Include:Troubleshoot equipment malfunctionsObtain/complete maintenance work orderRespond to emergencies identified by the shop and plant alarm system and/or physical plant supervisorPerform miscellaneous duties deemed necessary to run the businessRepair and service all sewing and cutting equipmentUpdate and follow preventive maintenance schedules on equipment and keep logs updatedMaintain an inventory of spare parts and establish a reorder pointEstablish good communications with outside contractor for equipmentAssist in development of new work flows and work centersQualifications Include:Must be able to work well within a team environment and without direct supervisionProvide maintenance to forklift, air compressors and any other plant equipmentMaintain preventive maintenance program with all maintenance done up to dateMust be able to read, write and speak English, be mechanically inclined and able to work on various machines. Good communication and organizationable to work on various machines. Good communication and organization skills.
