About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist Profession: Cardiovascular Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Cardiovascular Interventional Rad Tech - ARRT (CV), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) via CCI Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of experience, able to handle STEMI on own Description: Hiring process includes profile review and interview with unit manager. A radius of 60 miles is required. A driver's license must be submitted. Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first day modules are remote. Candidates should be prepared for potential floating requirements, assisting in the stress lab. The unit provides scrubs and has a specific dress code. The average number of cases per day is between 1 to 3. Weekend and call requirements may include 2 to 3 weekends a month, depending on staff PTO. Holiday and call requirements are negotiable. Call response time is expected to be within 30 minutes. The cancellation policy allows for up to 4 shifts to be canceled per 13-week assignment. The charting system used is EPIC.
