ATR is a leading aircraft manufacturer specializing in regional turboprops. Based in Miami, the Finance Directorate supports the Americas and Caribbean regions. Accountant & Credit Management Officer Key Responsibilities Accounting Manage and process payments: receive, verify, and reconcile invoices. Analyze and allocate expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers. Schedule vendor payments, monitor discount opportunities, and resolve discrepancies. Respond to vendor inquiries regarding accounting. Maintain accurate ledgers and perform month‑end closing tasks. Calculate and report sales taxes on paid invoices. Improve payment processes, including SAP cockpit enhancements. Post incoming customer payments and apply them to outstanding invoices. Produce monthly customer account statements and manage reconciliations. Credit Management Customer Account Management Update approved credit lines and payment terms in SAP. Monitor credit risk: release orders based on overdue invoices and maturity. Ensure bank guarantees and letters of credit are in place and renewed on time. Track incoming customer payments and apply them appropriately. Issue credit notes and clear invoices with correct references. Communication with Customers Provide monthly account statements and on‑request statements. Gather customer financial statements for solvency assessment. Coordinate on‑time payments by email or video call communication. Debt Recovery Follow up on overdue invoices in a friendly and diplomatic manner. Handle advanced payment applications and ensure timely debt installment payments. Prepare claims for credit insurers or external recovery providers. Collect and analyze disputes (pricing, logistics, equipment defects), forward to appropriate technical or commercial teams, and arrange follow‑up meetings. About You Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; 2+ years of accounting experience. Strong verbal communication; ability to build trustful vendor and customer relationships. Proficient in SAP R/3 FI/CO modules. Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Power BI). Bilingual in English and Spanish; French or Italian are a plus. Excellent time management, organization, attention to detail, and analytical skills. Commitment to act with integrity and awareness of compliance risks.
