We work with people of all ages at home, at work, and in the community through residential programs, employment services, crisis response, early intervention, and more. Our Branchburg office is seeking qualified and caring people to work as Direct Support Professionals (DSP/CNA/Caregiver/Home Health Aide) in our group homes located in Branchburg, Bridgewater, Somerset County, NJ.

Successful applicants will attend paid training to obtain required certifications. No experience is necessary, learn on-the-job.

Professional experience working with developmentally disabled populations, experience as a CNA, home health aide or caregiver can all qualify as experience relevant to this field. Pay rates are determined based on that experience, starting at $20.75.

The following shifts are available in the area: Saturday and Sunday shifts will be considered for every other weekend schedules.

Responsibilities Include:

• Protect and honor the rights of people with disabilities
• Create a supportive and clean home environment
• Support skill acquisition and enhancement as outlined in individual service plans (ISPs).
• Assist with daily living tasks and ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Administer medications and follow healthcare protocols under nurse supervision.
• Document client progress and goals
• Engage individuals in age-appropriate recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Safely transport individuals as needed
• Work independent or with co-workers to enhance the growth of individuals served
• Participate in ongoing professional training

General Qualifications:

• Reliable transportation
• Valid auto insurance and driver's license
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalency
