Electricians With Active Secret Clearance NeededAerotek is seeking experienced Electricians, Electrical Technicians, and Electrical Installers with an Active Secret Clearance to support work on U.S. Navy submarines and shipyard facilities in Hawaii. This is an outstanding opportunity for National Guard Members, Reservists, Veterans, and Transitioning Service Members to leverage their electrical skills and security clearance while supporting mission-critical defense operations.Job Responsibilities:Install and route electrical cables for lighting, communications, power distribution, control systems, electronics, and specialized shipboard equipmentFabricate and install wireways, cable hangers, penetrations, and bulkhead stuffing tubesInstall terminal boxes, switches, controllers, electrical cabinets, panels, and wiring harnessesCut in, terminate, and hook up electrical cables to shipboard systems and equipmentAssist with installation and hookup of ship lighting systems and power distribution equipmentInstall, build, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic systemsRead and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, technical manuals, and work packagesPerform work in shipboard, industrial, and confined-space environments while following strict safety and security proceduresQualifications:Active Secret Clearance RequiredMinimum 3 years of electrical, electronics, shipyard, industrial, commercial, or military electrical experienceAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagramsAbility to work all shifts, including overtime and weekends as requiredComfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying environmental conditionsAble to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipmentMust provide basic hand toolsStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environmentPreferred Experience:Shipyard or Marine Electrical ExperienceMilitary Electrical ExperienceNavy, National Guard, Reserve, or VeteranFiber Optic Installation and TestingTechnical School, Trade School, Apprenticeship, or Electrical Training ProgramTraining & Benefits:OSHA TrainingShipyard Safety TrainingWeekly PayCompetitive CompensationLong-Term Project OpportunitiesOpportunity to Support U.S. Navy OperationsCareer Growth Within the Shipbuilding and Defense IndustryMilitary Friendly Opportunity:National Guard Members, Reservists, Veterans, and Transitioning Service Members are strongly encouraged to apply.
