As a Medication Technician at Belvedere Commons of Sun City Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications in accordance with our established policies and procedures. Our senior living community is dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medication Technician to join our team.

**Responsibilities:**

* Administer medications to residents as prescribed by their healthcare providers
* Monitor residents' medication regimens and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff
* Maintain accurate records of medications administered and document any adverse reactions
* Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents
* Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents, including proper storage and disposal of medications
* Participate in resident assessments and care planning meetings
* Provide emotional support and assist with daily living activities as needed

**Requirements:**

* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of employment
* 1-2 years of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
