PLC Technician

PLC Tech.

Shift/Schedule, Mon-Fri 6:45AM - 3:00PM. Will need to work Sat/Sun and overtime as needed, may be called in to work either at plant or remotely for issues.

Starting payrate $40 - $46.80 per hour

Role & Responsibilities:

• This position is located in a manufacturing plant.
• Responsibility for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of the plant's process control and drive programs.
• Provide the programming for plant process control equipment.
• Assist with the development and implementation of new PLC technologies to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with impacted stakeholders around needs, project status, etc.
• Support the plant's networking and computer systems as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Certification or specialized education in process control is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability with the engineering, programming, and implementation of industrial control systems.
• Proven experience with control systems components, ladder logic programming, HMI programming and their applications.
• Aptitude for instrumentation and controls design.
• Well-developed aptitude around MO computer applications, Project and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology is a plus.
• Self-starter, with excellent organization skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
