We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join our dynamic team. As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare delivery system, conducting laboratory tests that assist doctors in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. Responsibilities As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing a wide variety of laboratory tests and procedures that require independent judgment, including both routine and specialized tests.
• Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results by adhering to a rigorous quality control program.
• Recognizing and resolving problems or errors that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results.
• Maintaining laboratory equipment, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and troubleshooting malfunctions.
• Assisting in the development and validation of new test methods.
• Participating in the evaluation of new equipment and reagents.
• Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.
• Training and supervising junior laboratory personnel.
• Communicating effectively with healthcare providers to answer inquiries regarding test procedures and results.

Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Clinical Laboratory Scientist position should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field.
• Current and valid Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) certification.
• Minimum of five years of experience as a CLS, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Extensive knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in using laboratory information systems.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize workload.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
