Job Description

Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group is recruiting for an expereinced Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team. We are looking for candidates that would thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment. Our 3 urgent care locations diagnosis and treat patients of


all ages.

Provider functions independently, including coordination and facilitation of administrative and clinical activities in collaboration with a supervising physician to provide the following essential functions listed below.

    Performs medical and/or surgical procedures as qualified to perform, approved by the AHN Medical Staff Office and in accordance with medical staff bylaws.

  • 
    
    

    
    Writes appropriate prescriptions and administers medications.

    Displays knowledge of the principles of growth and development while demonstrating the skills and competencies appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.

Requirements:

  Suturing experience a required

  Ability to see patients of all ages

  Eligible for prescriptive authority through the Georgia Board of Nursing and/or Georgia Composite Medical Board.

  If applicable in setting, must have or be eligible to obtain a DEA license.

  Master's Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required
  
  

  
  



• 
  
  

  
  Georgia license to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse through the Georgia Board of Nursing required.

  Certification in the area of practice and appropriate for the population served from a nationally recognized certifying body required.
