About the Position
Explore a long-term locum tenens opportunity for a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in Ogdensburg, New York . This full-time outpatient assignment offers diverse pediatric and adolescent psychiatric care in a supportive clinical environment.
Enjoy a structured weekday schedule with the flexibility to work up to 62 hours per week , plus potential on-call coverage based on clinical needs. This travel assignment provides meaningful outpatient experience and an opportunity to support children and adolescents across a diverse patient population.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric care to children and adolescents.
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide appropriate treatment.
- Manage ongoing psychiatric care for pediatric and adolescent patients.
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric services in an outpatient setting.
- Participate in additional on-call coverage based on clinical needs, when available.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry — mandatory.
- Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry — preferred.
- Active New York medical license.
- BLS required.
- DEA required.
Working Hours
- Monday–Friday
- Standard clinic hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Full-time schedule
- Up to 62 hours per week
- Optional on-call coverage available based on clinical needs; not guaranteed.
