The agency has a mission to lead national efforts to modernize the electric grid; enhance security and reliability of the energy infrastructure; and facilitate recovery from disruptions to energy supply. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria. The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent with 3 years of experience programming IT enterprise management systems to configure, maintain, and operate financial, human resources, and enterprise-level reporting systems. Work experience developing relational database management systems using Structured Query Language (SQL), Open Database Connectivity (ODBC), and Java Database Connectivity Technology is preferred. Technical experience in database management, administration, analysis and programming of computerized database is preferred.TRAVEL: Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
