Social Media Coordinator

Wray Ward

The Social Media Coordinator (SMC) will support the Social Media and Influencer Marketing teams in organizing, planning and executing social media and influencer marketing activities for Wray Ward and its clients. This entry-level position will offer experience in social media content creation and community management and influencer program activation. The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to multitask and work in a collaborative, team environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities as Social Media Coordinator
  • Work with social media director, associate directors and managers to manage social media programs on Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest, including content creation, posting, engagement, monitoring and reporting
  • Work with influencer marketing managers to identify and research influencers aligned with agency clients, assist with contracting influencers across programs and provide support for program activation.
  • Provide administrative support in creating purchase orders, client setup forms, job starts, work orders and other activities that help in organizing and tracking client projects
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of related experience preferred
  • Understanding of social media platforms and ability to use social media tools to reach set marketing program goals
  • Solid writing skills, including ability to quickly understand and write about topics in diverse industries and self-edit for quality assurance
  • Understanding of influencer marketing and its use across social channels and marketing platforms
  • Self-starter who can work well in a team environment
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (Sprout, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, HubSpot) and influencer marketing tools (CreatorIQ) a plus
  • Bachelor's degree
