We are the pioneers of the direct business model which is now adopted by many in the industry./ppINFINIUM has an immediate need for a conscientious, hardworking, and dedicated Professional Painter and Powder Coater to join our team./ph3Job Summary/h3pWe are looking for a skilled Professional Painter and Powder Coater to paint and powder coat various surfaces./ph3Responsibilities/h3p1. Reading blueprints/instructions and examining surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary./pp2. Making on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc./pp3. Preparing walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint etc./pp4. Mixing paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture./pp5. Painting surfaces using brushes, spray guns, or paint rollers./pp6. Applying varnish and other finishes to preserve the quality of the paint job and enhance the final appearance./pp7. Preparing and applying powder coating to metal and wood substrates./pp8. Operating powder coating equipment and ensuring it is in good working order./pp9. Inspecting finished surfaces to detect flaws and ensure quality./pp10. Conducting routine maintenance to keep painting and powder coating equipment clean and in good working order./pp11. Complying with all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment./pp12. Follow safety protocols and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)./pp13. Participate in continuous improvement and safety activities to streamline production processes and enhance product quality./ph3Qualifications/h3p1. Proven experience as a Professional Painter and/or Powder Coater, ideally in the industrial/commercial sector./pp2. Exceptional knowledge of painting and powder coating material and how to select, mix and apply them./pp3. Solid knowledge of commercial finishing and refinishing in a construction environment./pp4. Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, sprayers, tooling for hanging parts etc.)./pp5. Conscientious with great attention to detail./ph3Competencies/h3p1. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods./pp2. Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials./pp3. Valid Drivers License/pp4. High school diploma or equivalent./pp5. Forklift Operation Certification will be considered a plus./pp6. Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds./pp7. Ability to occasionally travel overnight./ph3Work Schedule/h3pThis is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week.
