Schedule

Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:00) with rotating weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Cardiac Step-Down Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care for adult patients in a telemetry-monitored unit. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient's condition and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Provide patient education on disease management and health maintenance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Telemetry and IV start skills required.
