BrightStar Care of Southwest Atlanta & College Park is hiring RNs to deliver specialized skilled nursing care, including IV therapy, wound management, and clinical oversight, for clients in their homes and assisted living communities throughout Southwest Atlanta. Pay & Schedule Competitive hourly pay: $40–55 per hour specialty cases (wound care, trach, vent) may command a per-shift premium Weekly pay with direct deposit PRN and part-time (8- to 12-hour shifts) opportunities available Flexible scheduling - days, evenings, and weekends Home care and facility-based assignments What You Will Do As a Registered Nurse with BrightStar Care, you will provide one-on-one skilled nursing care that makes a real difference in patients' lives. Your responsibilities will include: Initiate and monitor IV infusions, manage PICC lines and central line care per physician orders Perform wound assessments, dressing changes, and wound care interventions Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and monitor changes in patient condition Develop and follow individualized plans of care in collaboration with the care team Educate patients and families on care plans, medication management, and health conditions Communicate updates to the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary care team Document patient care accurately using mobile charting tools, in compliance with agency policies Support and mentor caregivers to ensure quality care delivery across assignments Why Nurses Choose BrightStar Care Flexible scheduling that supports real work-life balance Weekly pay - never wait for a paycheck Mileage reimbursement for travel between client visits Paid training and continuing education opportunities Referral bonus program Mobile charting and documentation tools - chart from the field Career growth and leadership development opportunities Clinical mentorship for nurses transitioning from hospital to home health Dedicated support from an experienced clinical leadership team Eligibility for BrightStar's National Caregiver of the Year Award - including travel to BrightStar's Annual Conference and the opportunity to win a $2,500 scholarship Qualifications Required: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience Current CPR/BLS certification Negative TB test or chest X-ray within the past 12 months Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed Preferred: Experience in infusion therapy, IV insertion, PICC line management, or wound care Home health or community-based nursing experience Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, and assisting with patient mobility.
