CT Technologist - CT Technologist


Job Details:


• Set schedule with weekend rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• Holiday coverage required if shift falls on a scheduled day
• Perform approximately 20 scans per shift
• Work with outpatient, ED, and inpatient populations including Level II Trauma scans
• Perform scans for strokes, brain CTAs, CT perfusions, abdomen, extremities, spine, neck, head, and pulmonary embolisms
• Patient population ranges from toddlers to adults (infant cases are rare)
• Minimum 2+ years of acute care CT experience required
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Canon and Toshiba experience highly preferred - candidates without this experience require manager approval
• IV starts, CT perfusions, and experience with biopsies and special procedures preferred
• EMR: EPIC experience preferred
• PACS: McKesson
• Medication dispensing: Pyxis
• Equipment: Canon Scanners 80 slice and 40 slice
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT), Wisconsin License, BLS
• Scrub color: Any solid color, professional - no graphics, logos, or designs
• Free parking available on site


Facility:


This facility is a 60-bed hospital operating as a Level IV Trauma Center and Stroke Ready Facility. The imaging department features 2 CT scanners shared back-to-back with a control room, supported by a team that includes imaging patient assistants, a radiology nurse, a lead CT technologist on day shift, and MRI and X-ray services available 24/7. The department maintains a fun and close-knit unit culture with comprehensive support staff available throughout all shifts.
