Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $1,893 per week

Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Winston Salem, North Carolina.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience (required).
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required ( first-time travelers will not be accepted ).
• Active RN License (required).
• Current BCLS certification (required).
• IV start experience (required).
• Telemetry experience preferred.

Required Clinical Skills:

• IV starts
• General Medical-Surgical nursing care
• Care of GI, surgical, renal, and telemetry patients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start

Schedule & Unit Requirements:

• 36 hours per week only
• 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Comfortable managing a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio , with the understanding that assignments may increase to 1:7 due to staffing needs.
• Required to work every other weekend .
• Floating to other Med/Surg units is required .
• No blocked scheduling permitted.
• Assignment length: 13 weeks or long
