Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 2 years of NICU/PICU experience for a night shift position working with pediatric patients across critical care units.

Details

• Work in NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings with pediatric patients
• Level 4 NICU high-acuity care environment
• May float to additional pediatric NICU and rehabilitation locations
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a
• Schedule is either 3x12s or 4x12s per week
• 12-week contract

Requirements

• Ohio RRT license required — license must be in hand prior to consideration
• Current certifications required: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pediatric care, including PICU and NICU
• Experience with high-acuity Level 4 NICU required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services to critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients across multiple critical care units
• Two fingerprinting sessions are required: one completed onsite at the facility prior to start, and one completed through the agency
• All work history, including any prior positions at this health system, must be fully disclosed in your profile
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be communicated at the time of submission and during the interview
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any location within this health system; a minimum 6-month break is required before returning to any location within the system
