Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in precision metal parts, is seeking a Manual Machinist to join their team. As a Manual Machinist, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Pell City, AL

Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day; Friday as needed. Flexible work hours between 4 AM and 4 PM, Monday - Friday.

What's the Job?

• Operate manual machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to meet specifications and tolerances.
• Set up machines, select and change cutting tools, and adjust settings for optimal performance.
• Perform turning, boring, drilling, and surface finishing operations to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain machinery, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor repairs to minimize downtime.
