Boys Physical Education/Health Teacher - Bishop Chatard High School
Bishop Chatard High School is seeking a Boys Physical Education/Health teacher to start in the 2026-2027 school year. This is a long term position. Bishop Chatard is a dynamic educational environment for young men and women with different life experiences, is directed to the success of each student, focused on the growth of the whole person, and modeled on the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church. Bishop Chatard High School prepares students for a life-long commitment to faith, learning, leadership and service. Bishop Chatard High School is also a Department of Education "Blue Ribbon School" and AP Distinguished school. The position includes the teaching of both Boys Physical Education and Health. Prospective candidates should have a passion for wellness education and the mission of Bishop Chatard High School, have high student expectations, and a personal desire to grow. Candidates will:
- Support the whole person's growth and development of all students.
- Work with other teachers in our school and effectively develop and deliver a rigorous and engaging curriculum.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration.
- Establish and manage student learning in a positive learning environment.
- Possess strong technology skills and be able to manage coursework and their gradebook on a digital platform.
