Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed mental health assessments tailored to the unique life experiences and challenges of senior clients to develop personalized care plans.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that address the emotional issues related to aging, grief, and life transitions.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create and implement comprehensive geriatric care strategies that enhance quality of life.
- Guide family members and caregivers by providing education on how to foster emotional well-being in older adults.
- Offer specialized grief and loss counseling to clients and their families, supporting them through end-of-life issues and transitions.
- Design and execute cognitive stimulation programs and various therapeutic interventions aimed at improving cognitive function and mental robustness in the elderly.

Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
- A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

- Additional training or specialization in geriatric mental health and challenges associated with aging is highly desirable.
- A proven track record of delivering effective counseling services to elderly individuals with various mental health conditions.

Compensation and Benefits
