Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments tailored to the unique life experiences and challenges of senior clients to develop personalized care plans.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that address the emotional issues related to aging, grief, and life transitions.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to create and implement comprehensive geriatric care strategies that enhance quality of life.
• Guide family members and caregivers by providing education on how to foster emotional well-being in older adults.
• Offer specialized grief and loss counseling to clients and their families, supporting them through end-of-life issues and transitions.
• Design and execute cognitive stimulation programs and various therapeutic interventions aimed at improving cognitive function and mental robustness in the elderly.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

Compensation and Benefits
