Position Summary The General Manager is responsible for the overall operations and performance of the Greenville branch. This role focuses on driving profitability, operational efficiency, and quality metrics while managing the branch team to deliver exceptional service and sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities Branch Operations & Performance Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service delivery. Drive financial performance, including sales and EBITDA, and monitor operational KPIs to achieve business goals. Develop, execute, and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term operational plans. Implement change management strategies to enhance workflows and branch performance. Maintain knowledge of market competitors and industry trends, sharing best practices across NearU. Prepare forecasts, budgets, and financial reports; analyze trends and identify potential issues. Take immediate corrective action based on financial insights to achieve branch objectives. Recruit, develop, and motivate high-performing staff; identify future leaders. Build a unified, accountable team and foster a culture of high performance. Uphold a safe, accident-free, and healthy work environment. Promote diversity, inclusion, and respect, demonstrating NearU’s values and mission daily. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with marketing, accounting, human resources, and other branch teams to align operational objectives. Support other NearU markets as needed. Qualifications Minimum 8 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced service organization; HVAC experience preferred. Proven track record of growing a business and driving operational excellence. Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Executive presence, professionalism, and ethical leadership. Ability to prioritize, plan, and adjust in a fast-paced environment. Self-starter with the ability to motivate teams toward common goals.
