Clinic Registered NurseLocation: Everett, WARate: $50/hrSchedule: Monday - FridayJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinic Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Clinic RN is responsible for providing clinical, administrative, and facility support to ensure efficient operation of the clinic. This position supports providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care, clinic maintenance, and communication with other Ideal Option departments. The Clinic RN will provide clinical and non-clinical support as needed and directed by the organization.Key Responsibilities:Administrative tasks to support efficient clinic flow for in-person and virtual patientsObtain and maintain required patient documentation, consents, and releasesCollect patient copays and other payments as required by insurance plans and clinic policiesMaintain accountability for in-clinic funds, including secure handling of payments and completion of bank depositsFacilitate a positive patient experience through professional communication and customer serviceProvide clinical support within the Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) scope of practice and in accordance with provider orders, clinic policies, and applicable regulations, including:PhlebotomyUrine collection (in special circumstances as direct by provider)Accurate collection and recording of vital signsMedication reconciliationObserved dosingAdminister subcutaneous (SubQ) and intramuscular (IM) injections in accordance with provider orders and established clinical protocolsProvide patient education and answer questions regarding treatment plans under the direction of the providerCollaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery and treatment goalsPerform routine maintenance and cleaningResponsible for ensuring adequate stock of supplies, completing inventory, and orders as neededComplies with national PHI laws including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2Maintains punctual and reliable attendance in compliance with the Ideal Option policyWorks cooperatively to ensure the success of their team by providing support and training as appropriateMaintains consistent and regular communication with team members across multiple platformsDynamic responsibilities, including potential needs for:Community outreachClinic developmentOther projects as neededRequirements:Active Unencumbered RN License in WAMinimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient clinic or hospital setting.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)Medical terminologyExperienced with computers, including Microsoft Office SuiteEffective written and verbal communicationPrevious knowledge of de-escalation techniques preferred, but not requiredAbility to adapt to unique patient needs and communication stylesA knowledge of or propensity to learn about chemical dependency and its effects on individuals, families, and communitiesAbility to work independently or team settingAbility to work with underserved, vulnerable populationsStrong commitment to actively supporting an ethical open working environmentPreferred Experience:Experience with drawing blood.Work Environment:General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levelsVirtual support from the Regional Director/Nurse Care Team Lead - daily, periodic onsite clinic visitsRoutine All-Employee virtual meetings for organizational updatesPhysical Demands:Sitting or standing requiredLong periods in front of a computer monitorSignificant amount of typing requiredOccasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs.Squat/Bend/Kneel/ReachSchedule Requirements:Clinic Location dependent.Travel Requirements:Local travel may be required, and opportunity for domestic travel as needed by the organization.
