Join our team and help make an impact in your community today!Shift Schedule Available:Tuesday-Friday 5:00am-3:30pmExtra $1.50/hr. after 7:00pm on weekdaysExtra $2.00/hr. on weekend daysExtra $3.50/hour after 7:00pm on weekend nights24 Days PTO! - Use it, Cash it, Roll it overPotential Company BonusesTuition Reimbursement401k Retirement PlanHealth Insurance (Medical, Vision, and Dental)Healthcare and Dependent Care FSAShort and Long-Term DisabilityEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Basic Life InsurancePosition OverviewResponsible for the transportation of materials and supplies to and from satellite centers and mobile collection sites.Good communication skills are required in order to maintain necessary relationships with couriers and staff from other divisions to ensure timely deliveries.Essential FunctionsSupply Chain Logistics Support Tasks:Loads vehicle with necessary materials and suppliesCoordinates and performs routes and pickups to ensure timely processing and deliveryAccurately completes all paperwork or electronic documentation as requiredGeneral Work Practices:Practices good customer service relations with co-workers, clients and the general publicMaintains a clean and orderly work areaOperates company vehicles in a safe mannerProduces accurate, precise, and legible documentation at each level of the manufacturing and distribution processMiscellaneous:Helps to manage/rotate inventory as neededOther duties as assigned or requiredMinimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDPrior experience in a similar/related job preferredValid Driver's License with no major infractions and dependable transportationAcceptable level of competence with standard operating protocols used in the department and throughout the blood center in generalGood knowledge of operating Smart devicesExcellent customer services skillsAbility to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to follow SOP in a heavily FDA regulated environmentAbility to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors and co-workersAbility to work with all levels and in a diverse work environmentAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and peersPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
