*****MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI WITH ABILITY TO OBTAIN TO PASS A POLY CLEARANCE******Software Engineer IVOur client's Space & Intelligence Sector is looking for a Software Engineer to join their diverse team in their Herndon, VA, office. The candidate should have experience with structured software development methodologies and modern software tools and techniques.The selected candidate will work within a cross-functional Scrum team, and will perform software engineering and development activities, associated with supporting, maintaining, and enhancing software using an Agile DevSecOps model. The engineer should be comfortable working with containers and automated testing frameworks.For Senior Principal level: A Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; OR a PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirementFor Staff level: A Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience; OR a PhD with 9+ years of relevant experience an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirementRequiredStrong Python development experience, especially with workflow orchestrationElasticsearch/Open Search, PostgreSQL, MySQL experienceExperience with state machines, task queues (e.g., Celery), or workflow engines.Understanding of RESTful APIs and data serialization (JSON, XML).TS/SCI with ability to pass a poly*****MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE******Desired:Knowledge of API design best practices and data governance.Experience using Node.js.Familiarity with frameworks like Django, FastAPI, or Flask.Security+ or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user supporting deployed systems testingP/WShld, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
