Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location: Brick, NJ 08724 Duration: 11 Weeks (10/26/2026 – 01/09/2027) Shift: Nights, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM Schedule: 36 hours/week, 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend; holidays as required; floating within the facility to like units required but infrequent; no on-call required Pay Rate: $57-$62/hr.

Requirements

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry experience.
• Experience with inpatient nursing skills, including Foley catheter care and IVs.

Required Education

• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Required Licensure & Certifications

• New Jersey Professional Registered Nurse license or multistate compact license.
• BLS – American Heart Association.
• NIHSS.
• Telemetry certification or Telemetry Competency Exam.
• 4 hours of CEU Contact Stroke education.

Required Skills

• Telemetry nursing, inpatient nursing skills, Foley catheter care, IVs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identify patient needs and prioritize care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized patient care plans using initial and ongoing assessments.
• Initiate assessments based on patient problems, medical diagnoses, and functional health needs.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
• Document care according to standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and support innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centered care aligned with the professional nursing practice model.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
