Summary:

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri.

**Required Experience and Certifications:**- 2 years of Stepdown experience- Current RN License (either eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri)- BLS and ACLS certifications (from AHA only)**Preferred Certifications and Experience:**- Preferred additional experience: Stepdown or ICU experience- Preferred skills include post-op care, Bipap, and Cardiac gtt**Skills:**- Must have skills: Time management, critical thinking, and experience with Stepdown or ICU**Licensure:**- Current RN License required (meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri)**Roles and Responsibilities:**- Direct patient care activities for post-trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities- Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with established guidelines of nursing practice- Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care- Maintains professional accountability and coordinates patient care with other departments- Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information**Working Conditions:**- Stand and walk most of the time on duty- Meet unit-specific physical demands- Bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance- High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids- Physical requirements include pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs., pinching up to 15 lbs., kneeling, crouching, and crawling minimally**Personality Fit:**- Positive attitude, problem solver, and team player
