If you enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and learning complex products, this role offers meaningful exposure and continuous growth.As a Credit Derivatives Trading Services Associate in the Credit Derivatives Trading Services team, you will support accurate transaction capture and lifecycle processing while executing key controls that help keep trading activity efficient and well-managed. You will partner closely with the trading desk, operations partners, and infrastructure teams to resolve exceptions, improve processes, and strengthen end-to-end workflows.Job responsibilitiesCapture transactions accurately and on time in designated trading and risk systemsPerform intraday and end-of-day completeness and reconciliation checks to support accurate processing of trading activityExecute required controls, evidence completion, and complete timely sign-offs in line with established proceduresPartner with the trading desk and support teams to triage questions, investigate breaks, and drive timely resolutionCoordinate across operations partners and infrastructure teams to support end-to-end processing and reduce operational riskContribute to strategic and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance process efficiency, control design, and operating model clarityBuild and maintain a strong understanding of credit derivatives trading structures from both financial and operational perspectivesRequired qualifications, capabilities and skillsExperience supporting credit derivatives trading, trading services, middle office, trade support, or a closely related functionWorking knowledge of credit derivatives products such as credit default swaps, indices, tranches, options, and total return swapsWorking knowledge of hedging and related products such as interest rate swaps, corporate bonds, futures, equity securities, and equity derivativesUnderstanding of front-to-back trade processing, including confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting conceptsAbility to coordinate issue resolution across multiple teams, using clear documentation and structured follow-upStrong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and commitment to a well-controlled environmentStrong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to identify patterns, investigate exceptions, and propose practical fixesStrong problem-solving skills, including comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environmentProficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and operational controlsPreferred qualifications, capabilities and skillsDeveloping experience using AI-powered analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent process tools to drive efficiency gains, reduce manual effort, or improve accuracy in operational processes.Experience supporting lifecycle events for credit derivatives (e.g., credit events, coupons, resets, assignments, novations)Experience performing reconciliations, break management, and control execution within a governed operating modelFamiliarity with process improvement methods (e.g., root cause analysis, control enhancements, automation opportunity assessment)Comfort working with large datasets and translating findings into clear operational actions (e.g., pivots, trend analysis, exception reporting)Experience partnering effectively across trading, operations, risk, finance, legal, or collateral stakeholders JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
