Over The Moon Hiring Lead Electrical Installer

Tired of running installs for shops that cut corners?

Ready to lead jobs you'd be proud to put your name on?

Looking for a role that respects your card and your craft?

Excited to mentor apprentices in a shop that actually develops them?

This position is for a Residential Electrical Lead Installer.

Who We Are

Join our team at Over the Moon as an Electrical Lead Installer! We're a fast-growing residential HVAC and electrical leader in Waukesha, dedicated to white-glove service and the kind of work that brings homeowners back. If you take pride in clean, code-correct installs and want to lead crews at a shop that backs you up, we'd love to have you on board.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead residential electrical installs — service upgrades, panel changes, whole-home rewires, EV chargers, and generators.
• Pull permits, pass inspections, and document the work properly
• Train and mentor apprentices and helpers in best practices, safety, and Wisconsin code
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex install issues in real time
• Ensure every job complies with NEC 2023 and local Wisconsin code
• Provide a white-glove customer experience and represent Over The Moon with professionalism

We have a rigorous process for hiring an Electrical Installer but move FAST for the right person. You could be hired in as little as 10 days! We've had lots of interest, so the first few steps are automated to make sure you can get considered quickly.

Don't worry—if you take the time to apply, we will respond to 100% of the applicants.

What We’re Looking For:

• Wisconsin Residential Journeyman card (or higher) — required, non-negotiable
• 4+ years of residential electrical lead experience
• Strong command of NEC 2023 and Wisconsin electrical code
• Comfort with service upgrades, load calculations, panel work, and generator installs
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• Dependable self-starter with leadership qualities
• Excellent customer communication
• Open to learning new methods and perspectives

Why Join Us:

Enjoy competitive pay. Medical, dental, and vision benefits. 401(k) retirement plan with company match. Paid CEUs and license renewal — and Master card support if you're heading that direction. Be part of a team that respects the trade and the people who do it. Ready to lead jobs the right way? Apply today and join us at Over The Moon!

\nCompany Description

With years of experience behind us, our team started out working for a general contractor. Our team cut its teeth working under a general contractor, and the pattern we kept seeing frustrated us: customers weren’t being heard. Jobs got done to spec, but nobody was explaining what was actually happening or why. Homeowners were left guessing.

So we went out on our own. Working directly for you means we can slow down, explain what we found, and make sure you understand exactly what needs to happen and what can wait. We’re not moving on to the next job until you’re clear on where things stand.

While we’re there, we also look around. If we spot a safety issue or something worth keeping an eye on, we’ll tell you about it. Not as a pitch, just as something you’d want to know.
