Marvin Engineering designs and produces military Alternate Mission Equipment. Marvin Test Solutions designs and manufactures armament Test Equipment. Marvin Land Systems specializes in the design and build of power and thermal management systems. SCOPE:

Responsible for installation, repair, diagnostics and test of military automotive Environmental Control Systems and Auxiliary Power Units, as a member of our Product Development team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Install and test automotive air conditioning systems Mechanical assembly, integration and testing of Auxiliary Power Units Trouble-shoot air conditioning systems & diesel engines and generators for malfunctions and diagnose problems Perform verification and acceptance testing on development and production assemblies

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of experience working in machine shops or assembly shops. Preferably with a Defense contractor H.S. Diploma or GED is required Working knowledge of engines, generators and related components Must be able to read and understand drawings and specifications Self-motivated and can work with little supervision Strong analytical and problem solving skills Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic a plus Basic computer skills Good communication skills Strong work ethic and team player Must be able to speak/read/write English Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

SALARY RANGE:

Pay Range (Inglewood only): $30.00 - $35.00/hour (Non-Exempt). Pay is based on skills, experience, and education This position must meet export control compliance requirements.
