Interventional Technologist

Job Summary As an Interventional Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, producing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment. You will operate complex equipment while ensuring patient safety, interact with patients, explain procedures, position patients correctly, and monitor their well-being. You will maintain records, adhere to safety protocols, and collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal care. Sign-on bonus: $25,000 Pay range: $43.10 - $64.11 per hour Responsibilities Set up of interventional procedure according to physician preference, standards of care and hospital protocol. Ensure exam order, workstation system, equipment and patient readiness when physician arrives. Maintain competency in angiography/intervention suites, myelography/spine multipurpose room and intra-operative angiography equipment. Maintain competency in ancillary equipment such as injector, CO2 contrast set-up, angio‑jet, penumbra and other thrombectomy devices. Accurately and proficiently perform complex exams such as neuro embolizations, cerebral vascular attacks, lithium/vasospasm infusions, TIPS, uterine fibroid embolizations, chemo embolizations, run‑offs, CO2 angiograms, gamma knife and 3‑D rendering. Assist the physician and associates before and during procedures as requested. Required Qualifications Completion of an approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program and three (3) years of experience as an interventional technologist, upon hire. Medical Radiographer: AZ, upon hire. Basic Life Support – CPR, upon hire. Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT), upon hire. Preferred Qualifications Associate or higher academic degree recognized by the ARRT and Vascular Interventional (VI) registry, upon hire.
