COME WORK WITH US while we help build a world in which individuals with disabilities and other disadvantages realize their full potential. $500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days) Position: Employment & Training Support Professional 2 – Flex Location: Ronkonkoma, NY Rate of Pay: $22.92 per hour Hours: 25 hours per week between the hours of 9:00am-2:30pm Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm with flexibility for occasional weekend hours as needed Summary Provides orientation, training, and supervision of workers with disabilities, working alongside individuals with disabilities in a worksite or community-based employer. The Support Professional 2 implements employment plans designed to maximize worker progress and ensures the job is performed to specifications. Qualifications High School/GED or Hi-SET plus 1 year related experience and/or training. One year of human service experience desired. Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations. Experience working with OPWDD Day Habilitation and employment programs preferred. Requirements Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email and internet essential. Valid driver’s license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle with compulsory auto insurance and vehicle registration, and willingness to transport program members in personal and/or agency vehicle. Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, and community organizations. “Viability values our employees and the talents that they bring with them every day.
