Facility: GSS SD Howard Ctr | Location: Howard, SD Salary Range: $21.00 - $28.00 Job Summary The Medication Assistant (MA) serves as caregiver who provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a charge nurse. Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse, documenting outcomes, communicating changes in condition, collecting vital signs, and providing personal care and psycho-social support to residents. Qualifications High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required. Minimum age 18; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred. Meet state-specific certification requirements as outlined (CNA, CMA, or equivalent) for the states listed (IA, MN, ND, SD).
