Registered Nurse-Ambulatory, Full Time, Varied Shift

JOB TITLE : Staff RN, Ambulatory/Endoscopy Services REPORTS TO : Director, Surgical Services POSITION SUMMARY : Assesses, diagnoses, monitors, coordinates and manages complex care of perioperative clients. Evaluates postoperative outcomes and plans for continuing recovery and rehabilitation. Performs all other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred. BSN preferred. A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a medical/surgical setting is preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a current California RN license and BLS. ACLS within 90 days of hire/status change. PALS certification within 90 days of hire/status change. Procedural Sedation certificate or competency within 30 days of hire/status change. Basic Dysrhythmia required within 120 days for new hires/status changes.
