Forklift DriverEvans Distribution Systems, one of the area's leading logistics providers is looking for experienced Afternoon Forklift Driver for its growing Division in Detroit, MI.DescriptionUnload inbound shipments safely and move product as needed.Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate areaCheck or count freight for accuracy and/or damage.Prepare necessary paperwork and submit it to operations manager.Frequent & repetitive lifting using both hands/arms for items weighing.The Lifting frequency may be more than 100 repetitions per-shift.Frequent bending and twisting at waist/knees/neck while off-loadingHelp maintain cleanliness of warehouse and building grounds.Handle customer products with integrityPerform all duties in conformance with appropriate safety and security standards.Assist in warehousing operations as needed, and all other miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor.Maintain the facility's equipment and materials with integrity in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.Responsible for awareness and compliance with warehouse work rules and company policiesLift using proper safety methods provided by the company.RequirementsHigh school degree/GED3 years' experience driving a Forklift is a must.Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing (including background check and drug test)Details & LocationPosition is located on the Eastside of Detroit, MI.Shift available 7am to 3:30pm flexible to work overtime and weekends.Starting wage: $16.00/hour
