Registered Nurse - Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

07:00 PM - 07:30 AM

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and directs and guides patient/family teaching along with the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry. The Registered Nurse communicates with physicians about changes in patients' clinical conditions, including the results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. They must respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient conditions and treatment responses.

• Deliver safe patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient status and necessary interventions.
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse.
• Guide and educate patients and families regarding care protocols.

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• NIHSS or Stroke Certification preferred.
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred.
• BVP (MAB) training preferred.
