Physical Therapist - Home HealthLocation Morristown, NJAssignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Schedule8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday; no weekend shifts required.Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have experience working in a large acute care facility and be a team player who provides exceptional care to our patients. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, establishing plans of care and treatment programs, providing interventions, patient and family education, documenting interventions, and billing appropriately. This role also supports Lead Clinicians in competency development and implementation, participates in the orientation of new staff members, serves as a clinical instructor for students, and exercises independent judgment with moderately complex cases with minimal to no supervision.ResponsibilitiesConduct patient evaluations and establish appropriate treatment plans.Provide therapeutic interventions and education to patients and families.Document all patient interventions accurately for billing and quality purposes.Assist in the development and implementation of clinician competencies.Orient and mentor new staff and students in clinical practice.Make independent judgments on moderately complex cases.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureNew Jersey License to practice Physical Therapy.Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy academic program.0-4 years of experience as a Physical Therapist is strongly preferred.Experience in acute care in a large academic medical setting preferred.Preference given to candidates that have completed a successful clinical affiliation with Atlantic Health.Preference given to candidates with Board Certification as a Specialist in an area suitable for acute care.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
