Production / Warehouse Manager
The Production / Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily production and warehouse operations to ensure safety, quality, productivity, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery. This role leads production and warehouse team members, coordinates operational activities, manages inventory and material flow, and drives continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, supervise, and develop production and warehouse employees.
- Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide employee coaching, training, and performance management.
- Assist with hiring, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Production Operations
- Coordinate daily production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery requirements.
- Ensure production work orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor productivity, downtime, scrap, and other operational KPIs.
- Address production issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Manage inventory accuracy and material flow throughout the facility.
- Oversee shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading activities.
- Maintain organization and housekeeping standards in warehouse and production areas.
- Ensure inventory transactions and records are completed accurately.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and OSHA requirements.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely navigate warehouse and production environments.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move materials weighing 25–60 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse and production conditions.

- Direct Report: General Manager
- Indirect Report: Vice President of Manufacturing
Requirements
- 3–5 years of leadership experience in a production, manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment required.
- Experience within the building products industry is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to analyze operational data and make informed decisions.
$23 - $26 per hour
