We have an amazing opportunity for Cooks who can: Cook foods in a manner that preserves nutrients and produces an attractive, appetizing, and palatable product Organize and plan food preparation to coordinate with meal serving hours Determine the amount and type of food and supplies required for daily menus Must be able to lift without restrictions Must have at least one-year food service experience in a nursing home, hospital or similar healthcare facility Must have at least six months of experience cooking in an institutional setting Knowledge of large-scale food production equipment is required. Preferred : Some knowledge of special dietary menus Previous experience in an institutional food setting Exposure to the senior population Desire to serve and care for the senior population We offer remuneration commensurate with experience.
