The facility offers a collaborative and supportive environment with local urologists available via phone, nursing staff, urology technicians, and hospitalists to assist with patient care.

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens opportunity with the site looking to expand their provider pool for ongoing coverage needs
• Hybrid coverage model Monday through Friday, including either half-day clinic or elective OR combined with inpatient coverage
• Half-day clinic schedule typically runs from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, followed by a lunch break, then 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
• Saturday and Sunday coverage consists of inpatient-only service
• Approximately 5-10 phone consults per day
• Treats primarily adult patients with very few pediatric cases
• Both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities with active consult rounding
• Admissions are managed by hospitalists
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 60 days
• General urology skills required for adult patients; pediatric experience preferred
• Preferred procedural skills include advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, and percutaneous nephrolithotomy
• Preferred surgical skills include radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, and pelvic node dissection
• Robotic surgery experience preferred, including partial nephrectomies with intraoperative ultrasound
• Additional preferred skills include adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, fertility work-up, incontinence procedures, penile prosthesis, and ESWL
• Nearest airport is El Paso International Airport

• Start date August 24, 2026 with ongoing need
