Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to manage laboring patients effectively, ensuring high-quality care in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients during labor, including high-risk pregnancies.
• Independently manage laboring patients and perform fetal monitoring.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Conduct postpartum care, including newborn stabilization.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address obstetric emergencies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery in an acute care hospital setting.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN preferred).
• Experience managing high-risk obstetric patients and emergencies.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (Epic EMR experience is expected).
