TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Idaho Falls, Idaho, 83404!

Job Title: Registered Nurse, ICU Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Advanced skills needed: Vent management, ABG interpretation, vasoactive drip titration, hemodynamic monitoring. Procedures performed on unit: Intubations, central line placement, bronchoscopy, bedside tracheostomy, and PEG tube placement. Description: This is a 29-bed general ICU in a level 2 trauma center. The unit has a heart program with approximately 200 cases per year. The unit specializes in CRRT, Impella, IABP, and ECMO. A burn center opened in April 2019. The average years of experience among ICU staff is 12. Patient ratios are typically 1:1 or 1:2, with occasional 1:3 for patients preparing to leave the ICU. Staffing includes no CNAs and one tele tech. Equipment utilized includes Aleris pumps, GE monitors, Edwards EV 1000 and CCO, Primaflex CRRT, and Cardiohelp ECMO. The documentation system in use is Meditech. Scheduling requires three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend. Travelers may float first to the Emergency Department or step down units as needed. On-call expectations are only when census drops; otherwise, no call is required. Every other weekend work is mandatory. Certifications such as TNCC, NIH, and ABLS are welcomed. The required uniform is navy blue scrubs.
