Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Clinic Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 Years Required License: Valid compact or state license required Certifications: BLS, Chemo (ONS/ONCC) Must-Have: - Chemotherapy certification required - Experience in outpatient clinic infusion Description: This position involves providing nursing care in an outpatient clinic/infusion setting. The shifts are 4x10 hours, with hours from 07:30 to 18:00. There are no weekend or holiday shifts required. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient clinic infusion. This role will involve caring for adult and geriatric patient populations. The unit consists of 46 rooms dedicated to outpatient care. Documentation will be done using an electronic system. Patient demographics include those with GU cancer, hematology conditions, and sarcomas. Nurses will care for 6-7 patients per shift, managing acute and chronic conditions. The role requires skills in accessing and managing ports, administering chemotherapy, and patient education. Successful candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills and a commitment to patient care.
