2nd Shift Maintenance Technician - Lead

Cardinal LG, a laminated glass manufacturer in Jessup, is looking for a Lead 2nd shift Maintenance Technician who is dependable, has a positive attitude, and works effectively in a team environment. The Lead Maintenance Technician serves as a working leader, partnering with production to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Brief Job Description: The work will include maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing production and facilities equipment. Hours: Monday - Friday 10-hour rotating schedule from 2:30pm - 1:00am with a rotating 4-day weekend Rate: $25 - $27 based on experience Educational Requirements: Technical 2-year degree or a minimum of 2 years of verifiable industrial work. Experience: Previous manufacturing experience required. Demonstrating leadership or technician experience preferred. Dress Code: PPE materials and gear will be provided as needed per task. Adherence to PPE will be mandatory. Essential Job Tasks: * Work on 3 phase 480VAC electrical equipment along with 240Vac, 120Vac and low voltage DC instrumentation.

• PLC controlled equipment.
• Ensure preventative maintenance activities are completed on schedule and

documented appropriately. * Mechanical work will be on pneumatic, some hydraulics and multiple chain drives and gearboxes. * Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical systems, industrial troubleshooting and repairs. * Assist with facility maintenance projects and capital improvement initiatives. * Monitor equipment condition and recommend repairs, upgrades, or replacements as needed. * Mentor, coach, and train team members on maintenance procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and equipment operation. * Promote and maintain a safe work environment by identifying hazards, correcting unsafe conditions, and ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Must be able to bend, twist, squat, kneel or stand for long periods of time
• Ability to communicate effectively and safely perform work in an industrial
