Step into a dynamic role as a school-based Audiologist supporting students across multiple school sites in the Huntington Beach area. This contract position runs from mid-December through early June and is ideal for Audiologists who thrive in collaborative, mobile environments and are passionate about enhancing access to education for students with hearing challenges.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid California Audiology license required
• Experience working with children and school-aged populations preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with families and educational teams
• Proficiency managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining HAT/FM equipment and hearing aids
• Knowledge of Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) assessment and intervention
• Ability to work independently across multiple school locations

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and prepare detailed reports for students with hearing loss and CAPD
• Participate in IEP, IFSP, and 504 planning, staffings, and meetings; recommend accommodations and interventions
• Oversee ordering, setup, and maintenance of amplification systems, including troubleshooting as needed
• Serve as a consultant to families, teachers, and school teams regarding auditory needs and technology
• Collaborate with district teams and DHH specialists to ensure students receive optimal support
• Travel daily between assigned school sites (Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week)
