Senior QA Automation Engineer
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality engineering. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in API Testing, Automation, Selenium, Cucumber/BDD, and Spark, along with experience designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks for enterprise applications.
The candidate will be responsible for developing automated test solutions, executing end-to-end testing, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with development and business teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and test suites.
- Develop and execute automated tests for RESTful APIs.
- Build and maintain UI automation frameworks using Selenium.
- Develop BDD-based automated test scenarios using Cucumber.
- Create reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation solutions.
- Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
- Perform API validation and identify issues across application services.
- Work with Spark-based applications/data processing and validate data and application behavior.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test execution results and troubleshoot automation failures.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, test strategy, and quality discussions.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other QA engineers.
- Contribute to automation best practices, coding standards, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation practices.
