JOB SUMMARY:
- The Medical Billing Collector collects unpaid physician claims.
- Researches and resolves denials and payment variances, completing appeals, with the goal of maximizing collections.
- Achieves established goals for AR days, aging, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-3 years of medical billing collection experience
- Medical terminology knowledge/experience
- Durable medical equipment billing and/or infusion billing experience preferred
- Entry level knowledge; basic employment skills.
- Degree or HS Diploma not required
Pay range $17 to $23/hour
