What we’re looking for:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure (or ability to obtain Arizona credentials).
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology, Psychology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience with psychoeducational assessments and reporting.
- Ability to develop and implement evidence-based interventions for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.
- Familiarity with the special education process, including eligibility determination, IEP development, and progress monitoring.
- Effective collaboration skills with teachers, staff, families, and outside agencies.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
In this contract school psychologist role, you will:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students referred for special education services.
- Interpret results and share findings with teams to guide student-centered decision-making.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and offer actionable recommendations.
- Provide counseling, behavioral consultation, and crisis intervention as needed.
- Support Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiatives.
- Facilitate professional development for school staff on best practices in mental health and learning support.
